Funeral services for William Wallace Blazer, age 95 of Paris, will take place at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Rutherford City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will take place Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Blazer was born April 16, 1929, to the late Walter and Allie Blazer. He passed away June 23, 2024, at Charter Senior Living in Paris. Mr. Blazer was a retired construction superintendent. He was most proud of his service to his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was the oldest member of the Paris American Legion.

Sisters - Maxine McCartney of Bradford, TN and Martha Harris and husband Jim of Jackson, TN

Grandchildren - Donald Blazer, Megan Hendrickson and husband Tyler, Stephanie Whitaker, and Lauren Blazer

Great Grandchildren - Zoe Hendrickson, Ayden and Emma Whitaker, and Brayden Blazer

Uncle - Carlos Dunn of Milan, TN

Besides his parents, Mr. William is preceded in death by two brothers, James and Earl Blazer and two sisters, Margie Holt, and Margaret Garmany.
