Funeral services for Mr. William Edgar Hibbit, age 93 of Milan, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at the Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Martin Cemetery near Milan. Visitation with the family will take place Tuesday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. William retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He served during World War II. Later, during his time in the Air Force, he taught aviation mechanics until his retirement. Surviving Family: Sons - William "Bookie" Hibbit, Jr, Charles Hibbit, and Mark Hibbit Daughter - Sheila Orman-Strube Grandchildren - 10 Great Grandchildren - 15 He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Martha Lucille Wheeler-Hibbit, and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Young.
