Memorial service for Winfred D. McCoy, age 70 of Milan, will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 2 PM at Bodkin Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 12 2 PM at the funeral home. Mr. McCoy was born on October 11, 1951 to Carl and Mary Ruth Thompson McCoy in Humboldt. A Baptist in belief, he served 28 years on the Milan Police Department and retired as Chief of Police with the department. Winfred also served his country in the U S Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Lecia McCoy of Milan, a son Michael Shawn McCoy of Milan and sister Patricia Ward (Doug) of Atwood. He was preceded in death by his parents.
