Funeral service Zuba Nell Arnold, age 88 of Milan, will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 2 PM, at Bodkin Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Trezevant Cemetery in Trezevant. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday from 12 – 2 PM at the funeral home.

She was born on October 4, 1935, to Houston and Lena Ross Stafford in the Pilgrim's Rest community of Carroll County. Zuba attended and graduated from Trezevant High School in 1954 and she was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Bradford. "Miss Zubie" retired from the Trezevant School System as an Education Assistant where she was loved and adored by all the students. Along with her husband John, for many years they owned and operated the Pleasant View Resort at Springville, TN.

She is survived by two children Janie Wallsmith (Dwight) of Milan and John Arnold, Jr. (Delicia) of Knoxville, two sisters Marilyn Bobo (Danny) of McKenzie and Martha Arnold of Gleason, four grandchildren Meagan Whitehead (Randy) of Bradford, Morgan Lewis (Kyle) of Atwood, Molly Sams (Doug) of Milan and Abbey Clare Arnold of Knoxville and seven great-grandchildren London Kate Thetford, Houston Thetford, Addison Whitehead, Max Lewis, Milo Lewis, Indy Blake Sams and Ida Jane Sams.

Zuba was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John Arnold and her parents Houston and Lena Stafford.

Memorials may be directed to the building fund of the New Haven Baptist Church in Milan or to the Trezevant Cemetery in Trezvant.
